Keep the download address easy to recognize wherever someone finds your app. Use one link across profiles, or a separate path for each channel when you want to compare clicks.

  1. Add your store destinations

    Use direct store URLs or a supported attribution link.

  2. Create a social link

    Give the profile or placement its own path, such as /instagram or /tiktok.

  3. Test where you share it

    Open the published link from the actual social app on iOS and Android. Browser behavior can vary by app version and device.

Browser fallbacks are part of the routing

GoToApp detects supported in-app browsers and attempts an external-browser handoff where available. A visible button offers another way to continue when automatic navigation is blocked.

Are App Store links always broken in Instagram?
