Linktree alternatives for apps

Link-in-bio pages solve a problem creators have and app publishers mostly do not.

What these pages are for

A creator with a podcast, a shop, a newsletter and three sponsors needs a menu. That is a real problem and Linktree solves it well.

An app account has one destination. Adding a menu in front of it costs a step and splits attention for nothing.

The step that costs you

Tap the bio link, land on the page, find the right button, tap again, then reach the store. Every step loses people, and the last one loses more than the rest because it runs inside the in-app browser where store links fail.

So the page adds friction and then hands the visitor to the exact failure it cannot prevent.

What to use instead

When a menu is still right

You have two apps, or an app plus a meaningful web product, or you are running a campaign where the app is one of several destinations. Then the menu earns its step, and the store button on it should still be a routing link rather than a raw store URL.

One address in the bio, correct store per device, and stats on how many taps arrived.
