In-app browser tap data
Every tap our links routed, broken down by where it came from and what happened to it. Updated daily from live traffic. Free to use with attribution.

Headline numbers
- 206,067 taps routed in total
- 189,286 of those arrived from inside a social app rather than a real browser
- 176,623 of the social taps came from iOS, which is 93.3%
The last line is the one worth repeating: this is an iPhone problem in practice.
Android in-app browsers can hand a store URL to the Play app through an
intent:// URL, and iOS has no equivalent.

How this is collected
Each routed tap records its source, its platform, and whether every automatic escape route was blocked. Nothing about the app being promoted, the account behind it or the visitor is included here or in the JSON.
The method and the escape routes are described in the technical write-up.
